"The privacy is very important to us. In addition to the size of the lot, the way the house is sited we took advantage of natural separations between us and our neighbors. The planning for open space was also very impressive. Out the front we have long, unobstructed views of the mountains, city lights and golf course. And by setting the house back into the canyon wall, the petroglyph in front gives us a bit of history as you drive in. The canyon experience is all about the rugged, rocky near views that change all day long with the passing sun. And the elevation here allows for a temperature and moisture level that's great for vegetation. It's very green, much greener than most people expect in the desert."

"It's very private. There's great spacing, natural spacing, between the homes. There's rock outcroppings, ravines; and in the case of our home the extreme elevation that separates us from our neighbors. The planning was very well done. The stone bridges fit into the natural setting. And the little touches like chilled drinking water fountains throughout the neighborhoods tells me the developer really cares about the living experience here. You don't see that anywhere else. So at the end of the day, here we are distanced from the congestion yet downtown, the airport, even the Phoenix airport, is very accessible."

"My hobby is exploring deserts. I've camped all over. We looked for 5 years before finding Canyon Pass. I like to call this the perfect permanent campsite. The best thing about Canyon Pass is the silence. It's really a sensual, calming experience I don't think you'll find anywhere else. Even the ocean. Another outstanding aspect is that there's been minimal construction disruption of the desert. Being a desert lover that's very important to me. They seem to have learned how to create a living space for humans without invading the natural habitat. This is like living in an open desert zoo. The wildlife is that plentiful. Actually, this canyon adds a sense of adventure to everyday of our lives here."
